pickupboxesintotruck.jpg (18377 bytes)The Vineland Produce Auction is located on thirty acres in Vineland, NJ.  The facility has approximately 130,000 square feet of cross dock loading which is provided at no cost to the member farmers, brokers and distributors to facilitate the sale of our members produce.

The Cooperative has state of the art cooling facilities to maintain the cold chain.  The Cooperative can cool approximately 200,000 packages in a 24-hour period.  The cooling facilities include: Vacuum coolers, Hydro coolers and Forced air coolers.  In addition, there is approximately 25,000 square feet of cold storage available.  The Units are capable of maintaining temperatures from 0 degrees to 50 degrees.

boxesrightpickupleftfar.jpg (18944 bytes)The member farmers grow a variety of crops such as: herbs, Arrugula, Basil, Cilantro, Dill, Mint, Oregano, Parsley (curly and plain), Lettuces, Bibb, Boston, Endive, Escarole, Green leaf, Iceberg, Red leaf, and Red and Green Romaine.  In addition, other greens harvested are Collards, Kale, Mustard and Kohlrabi. Other products are Asparagus, Beans, Beets, Cabbage (Green, Red, Napa, China, Savoy), Corn, Eggplant, Onions, Peas, Peppers, Squash (Green and Yellow) and Turnips.  The members also grow a variety of fruits: Blueberries, Melons, Strawberries and Peaches.

The Vineland Cooperative Produce Auction was formed in the 1930s and has been in existence ever since.  The Cooperative is financially strong, conservatively managed and committed to maintaining the relationship between farmer, buyer and consumer into the next century and beyond.
